8 July.  The monsoon weather pattern arrived.  Rain around the area began in the late afternoon.  Cloudy skies and winds very common.  No observing until the weather pattern changes.  The above photo was taken looking to the west as sunset approached on Saturday, 10 July.

11 July.  Last night there were some noises on the roof of the house.  After sunrise I went outside to check on things and discovered that some animal (probably an owl) had had a late night snack (probably a rabbit) on top of the dome!

There was no obvious damage to the dome, and there was nothing inside the POD.  I will wait for a monsoon rainstorm to wash off the dome.
