Subject: Sent: Tuesday, April 20, 2004 18:11:03 From: John Edwards (newts91@sbcglobal.net) I purchased a Meade DS-2130AT telescope. I already owned a Minolta Maxxum 5xi 35mm camera. I purchased a Minolta Maxxum T-ring for my camera and a basic camera adapter. When I attach the T-ring to my camera however, there is a shutter speed, butno apertureI see-- as the aperture. When I press the shutter release button, the camera will not take a picture. any suggestions? Subject: Digital Camera for ETX 90 Date: 1/22/04, 21:18 From: Evert D Carter III (skipd7@juno.com) I have another digital camera now. It is a Minolta Dimage S414. 4 power optical zoom. 2.2 digital power. The optical barrel has threads. Is it adaptable to Scopetronix adapter system or better with a Universal digital camera adapter at the eyepiece of my ETX 90? Thanks for the information. Skip Carter Kent Wash.Mike here: I would suggest an adapter that attaches to the filter threads. Scopetronix has several adapter rings for different cameras. You can read more about Minolta cameras on the Helpful Information - Astrophotography page.

I saw some information on Minolta cameras but non on Minolta digital. ThanksMike here: There are two sections on that page: Digital Cammeras and 35mm Cameras. Minolta is listed under both.
