Hello Mike,

I saw your last OO report. Congratulations especially for Flame &
Horsehead Nebula.

To 'feed' some more into the new Panasonic area you created, here a shot
of the crescent moon. 2005-12-10,  20:30 CET,  PANASONIC Lumix DMC-FZ30
at 670mm, ISO80, f11, 1_50s, 7 images

Not bad for a standalone digital camera.

Thanks,
Dieter (Munich, Germany)

PANASONIC LUMIX DMC-FZ30 at ISO 80, 700mm plus digital zoom, f3.7, 1/50s

It is only a digital camera, no telescope. Besides Mare Crisium you can
see some craters down to about 85km (Geminus).

Thank you Mike and have yourself a nice pre-Xmas weekend. Dieter (Munich, Germany)
