Attached you will find a picture of the moon taken with my coolpix 995
on April 4thwhat is special about this is that my grandson actually
pressed the shutter with a 10 second delay, so that it is his picture.

We also saw Saturn, we can now count on having a new five year old
amateur astronomer... his expression was priceless, especially when he
saw Saturn.

Subject:	Coolpix 995 adapter

I am looking for an adapter for my Coolpix 995. I had two (past tense!)
over the years they have been misplaced or lost I originally bought them
from Scopetronix, I see their site is still up, but I have read that
they are not the most reliable place to shop now. Their replacement
store also does not appear to be the safest place to shop. I just now
sent Scopetronix an email on an out of stock item to see it they will
reply.

Any ideas? Any other place that carries these?

Maybe one of your readers could help

Luis

Hey Mike,
I don't know if I have the right guy or not but your Coolpix page really
helped me out a lot and I wanted to thank you.

I have a site where I have been chronicling my adventures with the Nikon
5100. Maybe you could zip through it sometime and see if it would be a
worthy link to give out to other newbies. I have a long way to go but
your info got me started right man. Thanks!

The site is www.solarastrophotography.com
