For folks wishing to build their own cables to connect
a MySky to your Autostar, here are the details:
---------
For the 497 Autostar (ETX, DS, LX90, LXD):
The plan should be:
MySky (4-pin) --> Autostar (4-pin)

1->1 (data to Autostar, from MySky)
2->2 (data from Autostar, to MySky)
3->3 (not used)
4->4 (signal ground)

If you face the plug with the pins up and locking tang down,
(so you could insert it into your mouth and make contact
to your upper row of teeth), pin 1 is on the left.
In that orientation the wire i call 3->3 is not really used,
and could be omitted from the cable.

Note that the above pin-ordering is -not- the same as a
telephone handset cable (which can serve as a Meade 505 cable).
It is also -not- the ordering of the 4-pin to 4-pin "clone"
cable supplied with a "real" Meade 505 cable kit.
The telephone cable is 1->4, 2->3, 3->2, 4->1
You can chop a telephone handset cable in half, and resolder
it with the wires shuffled to achieve the desired signal routing.

--------------------
For an Autostar II (LX200gps, LX200r, RCX400, MaxMount):

MySky (4-pin) --> LX200gps (6-pin)

1->2 (data to Autostar, from MySky)
2->3 (data from Autostar, to MySky)
3->4 (not used)
4->5 (signal ground)

If you face the plug with the pins up and locking tang down,
(so you could insert it into your mouth and make contact
to your upper row of teeth), pin 1 is on the left.
In that orientation the wire i call 3->4 is not really used,
and could be omitted from the cable.

Note that the above is -not- the pin ordering of a Meade 505
cable, such as is supplied with the Meade LPI and DSI cameras.
