Version 2.0 of vPaddle for Autostar II is now in beta testing. In
addition to the original Autostar II Handbox emulation, significant new
features have been added to this software, including three star catalogs
(~ 22,000 stars), four deep sky object catalogs (Messier, NGC, IC and
Caldwell), and three user customizable object lists. These catalogs are
searchable and make it much quicker and easier to select, and slew to,
an object than using the physical Autostar II handbox.

The software runs on Macintosh computers with Intel processors running
OS X 10.5 or greater, and controls Meade LX200GPS telescopes.  Please
contact me if you're interested in beta testing vPaddle for Autostar II.
