Here is pat23eb.zip, my first patch kit for Meade's v23eB firmware.
It is a direct conversion of the 22tt kit.
Future patches will provide all-model selection, and 4504/114EQ models.
 Those two features are not needed for off-the-shelf Meade telescopes.

This kit provides:
  Editing of Training Values (an EDIT menu item under Setup>Train Drives)
  Editing of Satellite Tracking Horizon (AOS Alt: menu item under Satellites)
  Control of Elevation Travel during GoTo motion (Utilities > Max Elev)
  Automatic Satellite Track starting at down-count=zero  (optional, see
new23bB.txt)
  Display of Satellite AOS time to-the-second
  Optional Cord Wrap control (allows turning OFF Cord Wrap
  Version number change from 23Eb  to 23bb (so Initialization shows 23b )

The ZIP file contains:
  readme23eB.txt  <-- the README  text file with all instructions.
  patch23bB.txt    <-- the patch-list file, with comments
  newpatch.bat   <-- the batch file which controls the job (same as 22tt)
  AStarPat.exe   <-- the executable program which does the job (same as 22tt)

Unpack the ZIP file  into c:\Program Files\Meade\ASU\Ephemerides
Read the readme23eB.txt file.
Drag, Drop and update...

Subject:	Patch Kit v23b4 -- adds 4504/114EQ to Autostar

Here's a larger patch kit... it is the same as my 23bb patch,
plus it replaces the DS-70 model with the 4504 and 114eq  GEM-mounted scopes.
(if you have a DS-70, just select the DS-60 for equivalent operation).

IF you plug into a 4054 motor set, you'll see "4504/114EQ" offered after 
the DS-60.  Press [enter] to select it.  The Autostar will then know the
Ratios, Focal Length, Travel limits, GEM, and only-Polar nature of the scopes.

This patch is also appropriate for home-build GEM mounts using DS- motors.

The rest of the features match my 23bb patch kit, with the one other change
of the Statistics version number to 23b4  ("4" for 4504)
These features are:

One caution: i had to use the LXD55's ideas of "collision cone",
so this version may be too conservative (too many "Check Mount"
messages) or too "loose" (not -enough- Check Mount messages)

Please email me (or post) with your experiences...
The "Utilities> Max Elev (mins)"    menu item can control the UPPER
travel limit.. so you can modify that from its default "4800".

The lower travel limit is -10 degrees.

I don't -have- a 4504 (only a motor set), so i can't test the limits.
