GUEST COMETS ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY

Some ETX users have sent me examples of their astrophotography. If you have some examples you would like included here please send me a description of how you made the astrophotos and a copy of the images as GIF or JPEG files (due to internet email gateway issues, please send only one image file per message). Send to etx@me.com. Alternatively, if you have created your own web page with your examples please let me know and I'll include a link to your site.

Comet C/2002 T7 Linear
I'm sending an image of the comet c/2002 T7 Linear for your guest comets gallery. The image was taken on 21/12/2003 at 18:45 UT Telescope: Meade ETX-90 Camera: Philips Toucampro.32 frames stacked on comet of 20 seconds each. The Image IS NO PROCESSED.

Comet C/2002 T7 Linear
I'm sending an image of c/2002 T7 comet for your guest comets gallery. I think that it can be interesting because the nucleous was enhanced and you can see better the coma and the little tail. Processed with photoshop

Im sending a image for your Guest Comets gallery. Its a image of the c/2002 T7 Linear comet. The image was did on 14/12/2003. 28 exposures of 17.5 seconds each. Telescope: Meade ETX-90, camera Philips TouCam SC. You can see the coma arround the nucleous and a little tail.

Comet Encke
Quite a lot of work to detect this little comet 2p/Encke with the ETX. Attached a animated gif (if you place it on your guest gallery it will animate 2 frames). Pictures are each stacked 20 frames of 20 sec / frame. About 45 minutes between 2 pictures. 11 november 22:30 UTC.
