This was my first day out after receiving the ScopeTronix 40mm ST series Plssl. Setup was an ETX90, Olympus D460 (full auto, which is about all this camera does) on a Digi-T mount, and a ScopeTronix thread-on solar filter. Some minor light-level processing and sharpening in Photoshop. I can't wait to have at the moon with this lens!

I am sending you a few shots of the huge sunspot making its way across the face of the sun. According to NASA it can hold about 5 earths.

Just wanted to share with others my second attempt at a full solar image. ETX 105 + Olympus Camedia C4000 zoom + 40mm eyepiece. Black polymer thousand oaks solar filter.
