And:
From: richard seymour (rseymour@wolfenet.com) Show them this web page from Meade. You want the LNT module which fits the DS-2000 telescope family, not the LNT for an ETX. www.meade4m.com/4mshop/parts/2004.html have fun --dick
Thanks to all!!!! :-(((((( Well i hold my etx non LNT.
Subject: Etx125 LNT addition Sent: Wednesday, August 1, 2007 11:13:01 From: Guglielmo, Dom (ISD, IT) (Dom@thehartford.com) This is in response to the recent thread regarding the addition of an LNT module to an etx125 posted in the Tech Tips section of Weasner's ETX site. I too wanted to add LNT to an etx125 and also an lx90. When the MEADE4m site first went up the LNT modules were only $35. I bought two and must say, with the addition of the LNT module and also StarGPS, they are essentially an etx125gps and lx90gps. The DS model LNT module was added very easily to the etx125 using a strip of stainless steel. Believe it or not from a flattened piece cut from a stainless steel hose clamp bringing the total cost of the fabrication to a whopping $2 (not including the LNT module). I screwed the LNT module to the piece of stainless using small flat headed screws. With 1 90 degree bend and 1 hole drilled into the strap, it is held in place by the electric focuser mechanism and screw. I will send a picture later in the week. The DS LNT module also fits nicely on the LX90 model telescope with much less work involved. In conclusion, the LNT module is so pleasurable to use it was well worth the time and effort to install. I believe it would be an extremely popular upgrade if offered by Meade. Thanks Dom Guglielmo
