ETX-80 CAR ADAPTER - POWER SUPPLY Last updated: 9 March 2008

My ETX-80 uses six AA batteries. After reviewing some of your articles,
I puchases a 9V 1000mA adapter for a cigaret lighter in the car and
rigged the other end, to the telescope with a type N jack to a 9V
battery plug. It works great. I also had a portable battery backup
device for emergency jump-starting cars that also has the cigaret
lighter plug for recharging phones and such. It will last for at least
six hours and is easy to carry.
