Wanted to share my findings taking apart a Meade wireless 9mm
Illuminated Reticle Eyepiece. The pictures explain most of it. The trick
was discovering the screw behind the metal plate glued to the end of the
thumbwheel. I took a chance and Dremel-tooled the center to get to the
#1 Phillips screw holding the knob on. Once apart, some isopropyl
alcohol, a toothbrush and a duster can cleaned up the flux/grease (what
is it with Meade and the excess grease?) to give it smoother
illumination control.

Hope this helps someone else,
