The pinout is (looking at the AUX hole) +---------+ | 4 3 2 1 | +--+ +--+ +---+ 1 -- ground 2 -- aux data 3 -- aux clock 4 -- +12v Do a web-search on "I2C bus" and read Meade's patent 6304376 for details on the protocol used in addressing the peripherals. The focuser also has to respond to interrogation by the Autostar (it asks "are you there"?) So it's not easy.... it's NOT a simple "voltage to motor" situation like the #1206 (i think that's the model) that works with the LX90 and LX200 family. --dick
