Laurraine's Australia & New Zealand Vacation

Laurraine wanted an excuse to revisit Australia and found one when there was a Total Solar Eclipse off the western coast of Australia on 20 April 2023. Insight Cruises offered a trip to see the eclipse with the option to visit observatories near Sydney. After the eclipse Laurraine and a friend stayed in Perth for sightseeing. Then they boarded the Indian Pacific Train to cross the continent in a leisurely style with some stops along the way, entertainment on the train, and an excellent menu. Reaching Sydney, they parted company for a few days. Laurraine went to Melbourne to see friends. She rejoined her friend in Auckland and took a coach tour of the North Island of New Zealand.
