Sunrise at Moon Crater Copernicus

This animated image was taken 11 May 2011 using a Nikon D7000 DSLR on a Meade 8" LX200-ACF. From 1900 MST to 0000 MST, I took 11 exposures, one every 30 minutes, 1/200sec, ISO 2500, of the Crater Copernicus. The animation shows the sun rising to illuminate one wall and then part of the crater floor.
