Video from Cassiopeia Observatory
Last updated: 13 May 2011
This animated image was taken 12-13 May 2011 using a Nikon D7000 DSLR on a Meade 8" LX200-ACF. From 1900 MST to 0100 MST, I took 13 exposures, one every 30 minutes, 1/320sec, ISO 3200, of the Lunar North Pole region. There is not as much illumination change as the sun rises on the North Polar region vs what is seen near the lunar equator.
