I decided to use my Edmund Scientific 3" Newtonian Telescope, which I have owned since December 1961, for the 10 December 2011 Total Lunar Eclipse. And to photograph the eclipse I used an Apple iPhone 4. You can read my report on my Cassiopeia Observatory web site.
