The day and night was mostly clear, with some occasional high clouds passing by. As at other OPT events, there were many store and customer-owned telescopes set up in the parking lot infront of the store.
Gee, here are two larges boxes with my name on them! Hum...
Here's a LX200GPS 16" telescope.
This is a LXD55 10" Schmidt-Newtonian owned by a customer. Saturn looked really nice through this telescope.
A LX200 observing the Sun with a full-aperture "white light" solar filter and a Coronado Instruments Hydrogen-Alpha filter system piggyback.

Here is the table I sat at signing books. The telescope is what was in those boxes. It is my new Meade LXD55 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.
And before anyone gets concerned, I will be continuing the same level of support for the ETX telescopes! My LXD55 experiences will be on another site. Stay tuned for more details.
I enjoyed meeting everyone who stopped by to ask ETX and Autostar questions and who bought the book. Thanks!
