Sent: Wednesday, November 20, 2002 9:46:59 From: aon.912183187@aon.at (Gerald Wechselberger) Please find attached for the contest my selected image of the Moon from November 16th 2002. On the one hand i was lucky to get a somehow clear sky on the 16th, but the seeing was absolutely horrible. The craters wer jumping in all directions so the quality of the image is not as good as i hoped, but will be better than those images you maybe will receive and which have been shot at fully clouded sky. In addition there were strong winds, so only a few out of the 800 (eigthundred) images i shot (with the help of the automated Remote Palmtop Release), became somehow sharp. According to the rules here the data: Name: Gerald WECHSELBERGER Date: 2002-11-16 Time: 21:01:45 UT (09:01:45 PM UT) Telescope: ETX125EC, Polar mounted Eyepiece: 26mm Standard Meade at the back of the ETX Additional Optical Acc: NO Camera: Canon G1 Digitalcamera Mounting: Scopetronix Eyepiece Adapter Camera Aperture: F 2.5 Shutter Speed: 1/50 Second Focal length: 3x Optical Zoom = 21mm, + 2x Digital Zoom ISO: 50 Best Regards - ALOHA - Mit freundlichen Gren Gerald Wechselberger
And the Winner Is...

I am happy with my ETX telescope and happy with the possibilities it gives to me and the so called ETX worlwide community out there which is growing permanently because of the support you give to us with your MIGHTY ETX Site. It was fun to fight with weather and wind this time to getting usable images. I will be happy to share my fun and experience in using the ETX with you and the ETX community in the future. Best Regards - ALOHA - Mit freundlichen Gren Gerald Wechselberger Homepage: http://www.werbeagentur.org/oldwexi/ Ebreichsdorf - Austria
