1820 MST: viewed the waxing gibbous moon, 83X. I then began trying out two new accessories that I purchased from Oceanside Photo & Telescope at this past weekend's Arizona Science and Astronomy Expo. The first accessory I began using with the 8" LX200-ACF was a Baader Planetarium Hyperion Zoom 8-24mm Mark III Eyepiece:

I viewed the moon, Mars, M13 (Hercules Globular Cluster), and M57 (Ring Nebula).

After I completed some tests with the Baader zoom eyepiece, I began using the William Optics Binoviewers that I also purchased:

I viewed the moon, M57, and M45 (Pleiades) through the binoviewers.

I have more tests to do with both accessories and then I'll write up my product reviews.

2023 MST: final look at the moon using the Meade 2" 24mm Ultra Wide Angle eyepiece (83X).

I updated the Mementos photo album with a T-shirt I got at the Arizona Science & Astronomy Expo.
