Short Session; Waxing Gibbous Moon, Pretty Sunset

Equipment Used:
12" f/8 LX600 w/StarLock
2" 24mm UWA eyepiece
2" 50mm eyepiece
2" 9mm 100° eyepiece

Camera:
iPhone 8 Plus

1738 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision OFF.

1740 MST: viewed the waxing gibbous Moon, 102X and 49X. Nice sight against the bright blue sky before sunset.

Mounted the iPhone 8 Plus on the 2" 50mm eyepiece using the Levenhuk adapter.

1745 MST: took this afocal 49X photo using the iOS app NightCap Camera (ISO 22, 1/5300sec):

The clouds were approaching the Moon now.

1801 MST: did some lunar observing, 271X. Seeing was not very good. The clouds were in much of the sky.

Decided to end this session due to the clouds.

1807 MST: last look at the Moon, 102X.

1810 MST: LX600 OFF.
