iPhone imaging: Venus, Moon

Friday, 28 April 2023, was mostly clear and windy during the afternoon. As the outside air temperatures are already approaching 100°F, I powered on the observatory air conditioner. It will run during the daytime.

12" f/8 LX600 w/StarLock
2" 24mm UWA eyepiece
2" 5.5mm 100° eyepiece
2" 30mm eyepiece
Camera:
iPhone 13 Pro Max
1815 MST: Dome OFF.
1816 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision OFF.
Viewed Venus, 102X and 443X.
Mounted the iPhone 13 Pro Max on the 2" 5.5mm 100° eyepiece using the Levenhuk adapter. Took this afocal 443X image of Venus using NightCap Camera (ISO 34, 1/2500sec, 1X lens).
This afocal 443X image of Venus is a stack of 915 video frames taken with NightCap Camera (ISO 34, 1/7999sec, 1X lens).
I viewed the Moon, 81X.
1835-1902 MST: Relaxed on the observatory patio bench while waiting for the Sun to set. This was the view looking to the East from the bench with the Moon high in the sky.
1906 MST: Sunset. Calm now.
Mounted the iPhone on the 2" 30mm eyepiece for this afocal 81X image taken with NightCap Camera (ISO 34, 1/2200sec, 1X lens).
