1825 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision OFF.

Since it was less windy this session than on the previous session, I did some Venus imaging tests using 1 of the Variable Polarizing Filters (VPF1) with the D850 DSLR. Mounted the D850 DSLR at prime focus + 2" 2X Powermate. Took an image of Venus without the filter and with the VPF1. Here are the results, cropped, but with no additional editing.

I then did a 1080p, 60fps, video recording (30 seconds), 1/400sec, ISO 400, of Venus, prime focus + 2X Powermate. This is a stack of 1392 video frames.
