2" 14mm 100° eyepiece

Camera:
iPhone 15 Pro Max
D850 DSLR

Prepared D850 DSLR for imaging later.

1842 MST: Relaxed on observatory patio bench while waiting for the Moon to rise above the hill to the southeast.

1900 MST: The waxing gibbous Moon over the hill. Taken with an iPhone 15 Pro Max (5X lens, cropped).

1938 MST: Sunset. Calm now. Back inside the observatory.

1939 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision OFF.

Viewed the Moon, 102X.

Mounted the D850 DSLR at prime focus. Took this image of the waxing gibbous Moon, prime focus, 1/200sec, ISO 100, White Balance 5000K.

Viewed the Moon using the 2" 14mm 100° eyepiece (174X). The entire illuminated disk of the Moon was visible in the field-of-view at this high magnification. Nice.

1956 MST: LX600 OFF.

Monsoon Season is finally getting going. This may be my last session in the observatory for at least a week if the storm forecasts hold up.
