Four more Barnard Objects (Dark Nebulae)

12" f/8 LX600 w/StarLock
2" 24mm UWA eyepiece
Focal reducer

D850 DSLR

2031 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision ON.

I prepared the D850 DSLR for imaging, mounted the camera at prime focus + focal reducer, focused on the star Altair, locked the primary mirror, and then slewed to the first Barnard Object for imaging this session.

2043 MST: StarLock ON.

Took these StarLock autoguided images of Barnard Objects (dark nebulae), 30 seconds, ISO 6400.

The next Barnard Objects I wanted to image were too low in the southwestern sky. I will image them on the next session.

2058 MST: StarLock OFF.

Viewed Saturn, 102X.

2111 MST: LX600 OFF.

2119 MST: Took a Sky Quality reading.
