More Barnard Objects (dark nebulae)

Sunday, 29 September 2024, was mostly clear, but I wasn't able to go to the observatory that night. Monday, 30 September, and Tuesday, 1 October, were cloudy. Wednesday, 2 October, was clear.

12" f/8 LX600 w/StarLock
2" 24mm UWA eyepiece
Focal reducer

Camera:
D850 DSLR

1808 MST: Sunset.

Prepared the D850 DSLR for imaging.

1818 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision OFF.

Viewed the planet Venus, 102X.

1824-1911 MST: Relaxed on the observatory bench to watch the stars come out.

1912 MST: High Precision ON.

Began observing more Barnard Objects (dark nebulae) for my Barnard Objects Project, 102X: B310, B311, B187, B100, B101, B312, B98, B99, and B182.

Mounted the D850 DSLR at prime focus + focal reducer, focused on the star Altair, locked the 12" telescope primary mirror, and slewed to the first Barnard Object target for this session.

1952 MST: StarLock ON.

Took the following Barnard Object images, StarLock autoguided, 30 seconds, ISO 6400.

2008 MST: StarLock OFF.

Viewed the planet Saturn, 102X.

2016 MST: LX600 OFF.

2024 MST: Took a Sky Quality reading and reported the result to Globe at Night.
