2" 24mm UWA eyepiece
2" 5.5mm 100° eyepiece
2" 2X Powermate
2" 4X Powermate
Camera:
D850 DSLR
1823 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision OFF.
Viewed Venus, 102X, 443X, 887X, and 1773X. Best high magnification view was at 887X.
1838 MST: Relaxed on the observatory patio bench.
1908 MST: Back in the observatory. Calm now. Prepared the D850 DSLR for imaging of some Herschel 400 galaxies.
1913 MST: Sunset.
Viewed Venus, 887X and 102X.
1918-2000 MST: Relaxed on the bench to watch the stars come out.
Mounted the D850 DSLR at prime focus, focused on Regulus, and locked the 12" primary mirror.
2009 MST: High Precision ON.
Slewed to NGC3034 (M82, Cigar Galaxy).
2013 MST: StarLock ON.
Took the following StarLock autoguided, prime focus, 5 minutes, ISO 3200, images of some Herschel 400 Catalog galaxies. Some images also show other galaxies in the same field-of-view.
