1.25" 5.5mm eyepiece
Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector

Camera:
D850 DSLR

1818 MST: Relaxed on the observatory patio bench while waiting for the wind to calm down.

1855 MST: Wind calmer now. Back inside the observatory.

1900 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision OFF.

Viewed Venus, 102X and 443X + Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector (ADC).

1905 MST: Returned to the observatory patio bench.

1930 MST: Moved to a higher elevation to photograph the setting Sun.

1936 MST: Setting Sun taken with the D850 DSLR (f/16, 1/1000sec, ISO 200, FL 300mm, cropped). Sunset AR3354 is visible near the center of the Sun.

1939 MST: Sunset. Calm now. Took this photo of the waxing gibbous Moon with the D850 DSLR (f/11, 1/250sec, ISO 200, FL 300mm, cropped to the same scale as the Sun photo).

Back inside the observatory I observed Venus, 443X + ADC and 102X.

Viewed the Moon, 102X.

Mounted the D850 DSLR at prime focus for this image of the Moon (1/400sec, ISO 200).

Then took a final look at the Moon, 102X.

2000 MST: LX600 OFF.
