iPhone Waxing Gibbous Moon on Dome

Saturday, 18 May 2024, I turned the observatory Air Conditioner ON for the first time this year. Arizona Summer is coming!

12" f/8 LX600 w/StarLock
2" 24mm UWA eyepiece
2" 14mm 100° eyepiece
Camera:
iPhone 15 Pro Max
1817 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision OFF.
Viewed the waxing gibbous Moon, 102X and 174X. The entire illuminated Moon was visible in the 2" 14mm 100° eyepiece field-of-view. Impressive view at 174X!
1824 MST: Relaxed on the observatory patio bench.
1833 MST: iPhone 15 Pro Max photo taken with the Camera app (5X lens).
1921 MST: Sunset. Still breezy.
Viewed the Moon, 174X.
1926 MST: Took this handheld iPhone afocal 174X image of the Moon using the NightCap Camera app (B&W, ISO 32, 1/1400sec). I used the 0.5X Ultra Wide Angle lens in order to capture the entire 100° apparent field-of-view.
1932 MST: Back to relaxing on the bench while waiting for the sky to get darker.
1945 MST: The breezes calmed down. Viewed the Moon, 174X and 102X.
