D850 DSLR Moon, iPhone Moon on Dome

During the last few sessions in the observatory I had noticed that the eyepiece holder on the star diagonal was slightly loose. Thursday morning, 7 November 2024, I tightened the two setscrews on the diagonal.

12" f/8 LX600 w/StarLock
2" 24mm UWA eyepiece
2" 2X Powermate

Camera:
D850 DSLR
iPhone 15 Pro Max

1826 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision OFF.

Viewed Venus, 102X.

Viewed the Moon, 102X. Earthshine was visible. Seeing was not very good this night.

Prepared the D850 DSLR for lunar imaging. Mounted the camera at prime focus.

Added a 2X Powermate and took these images, 1/250sec, ISO 1600.

Did some lunar observing, 203X.

Viewed Saturn, 203X and 102X.

Slewed the 12" telescope back to the Moon and projected the Moon onto the observatory dome, 102X.
