iPhone Moon

Equipment:
12" f/8 LX600 w/StarLock
2" 24mm UWA eyepiece
2" 30mm eyepiece
2" 9mm 100° eyepiece

Camera:
iPhone 13 Pro Max

1826 MST: Sunset.

1827 MST: LX600 ON, StarLock OFF, High Precision OFF.

Viewed the Moon, 102X, 81X, and 271X. Nice sights.

Attached my LiDAR Cover on the iPhone 13 Pro Max and mounted the iPhone on the 2" 30mm eyepiece using the Levenhuk Smartphone Adapter.

Took this iPhone afocal 81X image of the Moon using NightCap Camera (ISO 34, 1/1800sec, 1X lens).

1848 MST: Breezes had calmed down.

Did some lunar observing, 271X.

Mounted the iPhone on the 2" 9mm eyepiece and took these afocal 271X NightCap Camera images.

Then did some more lunar observing, 271X and 102X.

Viewed M42 (Great Orion Nebula), 102X.

1917 MST: LX600 OFF.
