If you have some examples you would like included here please send me a description of how you made the astrophotos and a copy of the images as GIF or JPEG files (due to internet email gateway issues, please send only one image file per message). here are a few Moon photos from last night taken with my etx 125 and my sac 7 ccd. All are avi's of 20 sec each. 1/30 of a sec. 5 frames a sec. processed in registax and cleaned up in photoshop 9.0 and noiseware

The full Moon of September 7th 2006 was an awesome sight at magnitude -12.42. This image was taken from Shannon, Ireland using the ETX-125PE and Canon 350D in prime focus orientation. It is actually two shots, (top and bottom half) merged in Photoshop. The original images are greatly underexposed as the correct exposure Would have washed out any detail. The merged image was then level adjusted in Photoshop to enhance the detail.

here are some Moon photos taken with my 125 etx and a Sac7 ccd. all are 20sec avi's at 1/100 of a sec. All were cleaned up in photoshop. They were taken from my home in Washington Pa.

I took these photos from Concord, NH, on August 9th. I used my ETX-80, and a Kodak Digital Camera. The moon was so bright you can't see all the craters. I think it's about time I need to get a filter.

here is a photo of our Moon taken at 4:00am on 7/10/06 from my home in Washington Pa. I used my etx 125 and a sony cybershot mounted to a 40mm lens for the shot. The photo was taken in auto night mode and cleaned up in photoshop. The Moon was a nice orange color at that time so I left the photo as is. have a nice vacation.
